Does Anyone Have The Pandora Directive Trailer?

thanks for the demo, i did have it on a game demo cd i got from pc gamer uk version, nice to have it again thanks mate
What are the main differences, if any, between the demo and the full version (besides the obvious, naturally), content-wise or otherwise?

The demo, at least in the version I played, was simply Tex's search of Elijah Witt's apartment. You didn't have to contend with the alarm though. And once you opened the box in the apartment, that's it. That demo was what made me have to have Pandora.
I'm not fat ... I'm festively plump.
Danke Schön, Herr Malloy

AWESOME! Thanks SamSpade for posting the demo! Now I can get to making an excellent copy of the Trailer . . . . juuuust as soon as I figure out how to make it work on my XP machine. If I could get it running in a virtual environment I could directly export it to video. As soon as I figure out how to do all that I will let everyone know how it all turned out.
Wait - does the trailer come with the demo?

Thanks a lot for the Demo!
Finally I can see the "Making of" and the Trailer in the original quality. :D

A question though: Is there an official end to the interactive part? When you try to leave or get the box, Tex just comments that this is not possible in the demo, but there is nothing else to do besides quiting the game.
HA! .... ummm I am not sure that the trailer comes with the demo or not. I had always assumed it did. As you can tell I still haven't gotten the demo to work so I cannot really tell you. As I recall my original copy of the demo had the trailer and making of on it as well as the music video. That is what got me super hyped about Pandora Directive. Unless my memory is beginning to fail me I believe the trailer is a part of the demo. Am I wrong?
Yes, the trailer is included in the demo.

To get the demo to work you must either burn it to a CD or mount it as a CDROM in Dosbox. The important thing is, that in both cases you have to label the CD PANDEMO, otherwise the demo won't recognize it.
Afterwards you can simply "install" the demo from the CD and it should work just fine. :)
DosBox works fine for me even without the PANDEMO label.

I´ll upload a pre-configured Windows-Version of the Pandora Demo these days for you guys don´t want to play around with the old DOS settings - and post the link here for download.
Here is a Windows Version of the Pandora Demo:

It took some time to upload it as i don´t have a fast upload connection right now. but now i have it online for you to download:

=> http://files.filefront.com/PandoraDirec ... einfo.html

I made a little Windows-Wrapper around it so that you can start it from Windows without all the configuring issues (it just uses DosBox 0.7 routines, so have a fast computer (>1.6 Ghz) at hand).

When you run it, it extracts all necessary files temporarily, so be patient. It won't change anything on your system, install anything and every temporary file will be deleted after you close the demo. You have to press the ENTER key on the first info screen, to start the demo.

Do you also have the UAKM trailer or the Overseer trailer? I have them but the quality's so bad.

You can very easily extract these Videos by downloading the Windows Version, then pressing Ctrl+Alt+F5 and starting the videos inside the demo. Then press Ctrl+Alt+F5 again to stop the video capture. This will but a video of the whole screen in your C:\ directory in quite good quailty. Take care of enough space on your C:\ drive. Works great for me.
