Ever had Deja Vu dreams? It started about a year ago and seems to happen all the time now and I don't know what to make of it. I'd get a strong dream, wake up anxiously and then have the very intense feeling that I've dreamed that before, some weeks or months ago, but I can't exactly pinpoint when. Sometimes I have a Deja Vu WITHIN the very dream, where I just stop whatever it is I do and ponder on the fact that I've lived/dreamed this before. The thing is, sometimes it's true, sometimes I can't tell for sure.

The strangest thing that's ever happened though were 3 nights in a row where I cannot possibly decide if I dreamed or if the events truly occurred. It goes something like this:

Saturday night, I get up from bed in the middle of the night, throw up in the toilet, drink some water and go back to bed. In the morning, I remember all of this but can't determine if it happened or not, and no traces are left in the bathroom. Sunday night, I wake up still ill in the middle of the night, all sleepy, proceed to throw up and drink some water. Only this time I think "hmm, I'll remember for sure that it IS real and I am NOT dreaming". When morning comes, I find no traces of it and can't decide if I've tricked myself into thinking it was real or not. Monday night, same old thing, bathroom, water, etc. This time I decide it's getting ridiculous, and close both the bathroom and bedroom doors to leave a proof of my physical passage. When I wake up in the morning, still undecided as to whether it happened or not, I find my bedroom door opened and the bathroom door closed.

It never happened again, and to this day, I have no clue whether any of this happened or not.

I get ya Frank... I think I've had Deja Vu once in a dream and it was a trippy experience, I can tell you.

Here's one: You know in dreams, you can be in a particular location, and know everything about it, as if you'd been there many times before... but when you wake up you cannot ever remember being there before, and cannot understand how you knew so much about that location?

So many times this happens, I will know a place like the back of my hand in the dream, but when I wake up, despite remembering how the place looked I have no idea how I could've known it so well, having never seen it before.

That sounds very familiar. I've had a few of those, but never really thought about it until you said out loud.

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
I have about 4 or 5 different dreams that I know I've had before and I get them quite often... Especially when I just doze off and I never intended to... You know those naps that just come from no where and next thing you know you're waking up 30 minutes later {or however long}... I'll get those strong dreams then...

While I was in the hospital recently, just a few weeks ago, I was having the same dream over and over again, when I wasn't being put to sleep by any drugs that is... The last day and a half I was there, I didn't have any drugs at all and was napping a lot because I still wasn't getting out of bed a whole lot and I was having the same dream over and over again...
