Well, if you only wanted to live the Tex Murphy life style, most of it is pretty easy.

1. Get a PI license.
2. Get the coat, the suit and the hat. Sneakers too.
3. Find a good diner and stay in the most disgusting apartment building nearby.
4. Smoke lucky strikes.
5. Drink bourbon.

The only thing missing so far is the speeder, the dames and the amazing adventures, although I'd expect the latter two to show up first.

Cub, I'm not recognizing any of the board veterans except for you. Not that I mind getting a bunch of fresh blood for a concept that's way overdue for solid news (proves the subject's longevity) but who the what where when?

Very cool, but 400,000 for a model car you build? Wow. And the idea that people will take off from an airfield is a little unbelievable - I'd find a really good long road near home

Cub.. I think I may know someone at GE that can get them discounted..... of course at 400k per, I still cant afford it... but maybe one could fall off the back of a truck... lol

we got like 35 years or so before we see flying car like Back to Future 2 movie flying cars without wings support like the new "TAero". It's a nice "TAero" for a start.

I wouldn't make any definitive statements in the field. Technologically we've been moving at breakneck speeds for the last 100 years and half the time even the brains of our country don't know what's about to develop.

So, you never know.
