Doc, is there any way I could run a theory by your expertise? I had this major idea shoved into my head earlier today - a feeling not unlike being shived in the base of the neck with a railroad spike, actually.
If you don't have the time for it, by all means, I understand. But you're the only guy I know with a background in theoretical atomic physics. Plus, I'd wager you're at least a thousand times better than me at mathematics.
It might be complete gibberish, of course, but if nothing else I do believe you'd get a kick out of it. It is, at the very least, an entertaining notion.
