Here's my sentence by sentence response:
But seriously, I hope you have the time of your life and look forward to hearing all about it when you return.
Oh man, do you really have to leave the nest? You're such an essential part of the board. Well, I hope your new life brings you long lasting happiness and meaning.Demonlawyer wrote:Adele and I leave in less than an hour for our honeymoon, but I wanted to say goodbye to my friends and family on this board before I did.
And in turn, thank you for being such a pivotal contributer to our community. I really wish you didn't have to go.Thank you all for being so great and such an important part of my life.

Thanks, Jim! The chronic headache I told this board about in a time long, long ago and a galaxy far, far away have gotten a lot worse. I can't video game any more and have even, for the time being, stopped playing Interactive Fiction with my wife in which I was heavily involved. Well, I guess I was heavily involved in both and like to think I am still heavily involved with my wife.
There is a decent chance (too medically complicated to go into) that things may turn around somewhat but essentially no chance that I will ever truly "get better." If I had more discipline, I wouldn't even be writing this post, but happily, I guess, I don't.
