Some turncoat just withdrew a pledge...
This is the second reference to Gamespot bad blood I've heard lately. Is it just generic anti-adventure game, anti-FMV hate, or what?redcat72 wrote: Agree, I'm sure some annoyed Gamespotter thinks it's funnny to donate a big chunk, and then withdraw.

Never mind. I just caught up with the thread here that discussed it. Pretty frustrating.

It's actually quite sad, my advice for people is STAY AWAY from obviously hostile forums.
I even stepped in to try and douse the flames and even try to reconcile with them, having been a member of Gamespot since 2003 (long before any of these cynical and nasty people), and was straight out accused of hijacking or illicitly acquiring an old account to "spam" the forums. It's absolutely absurd!
It just shows how out of touch with reality a lot of these people are and it's just not worth arguing with them. Like I said in the other thread... let them fester in their own filth. At the end of the day we can only be nice, courteous and considerate, and if they want to be dicks, they will be the only ones coming across as dicks!

Agreed. Gamespot lost a lot of credibility over the past 20 years. It just shows how out of touch with reality a lot of these people are and it's just not worth arguing with them.
