Yes, I'm ashamed to say I never played Grim Fandango. But now a friend lent me an old copy, and I'm determined to play it. My question to everyone here is, how do I play it in winXP? I got it installed, it opens fine, fullscreen, the intro move plays just fine - it's just that when it's time to play, the middle, vertical-third of the screen gets all fragmenty (like in Overseer when you don't change that video-parameter from -1 to 1 or something), and no cursor is visible (so the fragments don't move with the cursor like in overseer either). I can get grim to pull out his scythe and put it away by pressing certain keys on the keyboard. Please, if anyone knows a workaround or something I can change in the code, please let me know. I really wanna play this game - it seems great!
