Raiders of the Lost Ark!

God I remember watching Star Wars in the cinema and Ghostbusters. Some of the Indy films were in my teenage years. Yikes....

I'd kill to see a TON of 70'/80's/90's flicks in theaters. I grew up in a village of less than 200 people and the closest I can equate any of that to is the day we got a colour TV or when we finally got a VCR. Watched the hell outta movies after that. However it just isn't the same as experiencing the movies in a crowded theater. They shut down the nearest theater to me in 1983 and the only movies I recall seeing there (vaguely, I was about 6) were Empire strikes back, ET, Revenge of the Nerds and Ice Man (the last movie played there.) I am only now catching up on the theater experience. Man I missed a lot.

I think a small, maybe 3 or 4 screen, theater devoted to classics would make some money in this area... I'm gonna start checking out some Retail Realty around here...

We saw Raiders when it first came out and I've seen it 50 times since. One of the all-time great adventure movies ever made.

And no, we are NOT going to see it on our 40th anniversary.
