Speaking of having a Tex Pinball game made, do you think I would need any kind of Copyright Approval for something like that??? Or since it would be a private personal item and one of a kind, do you think I'd be okay having it made without any permissions???

I doubt you do as you're not planning on selling it. The second you intend to sell it is when you violate copyright. At least generally. If you're gonna sell it I recommend doing it in a "garage sale" venue.

If I go through the trouble and expense of having it made, which I do hope to do eventually, I doubt I'll ever have any intention on selling it...

Thanks for posting this, it made me get the old Pinball emulator working again. I played for a few hours on the Simpsons table that I did back in the day, such a good pinball game. Completely hard and unforgiving! Then I fired up the Terminator 2 board. Man good times. I downloaded a bunch the other day and still haven't tried em yet. You guys gotta give em a go. They aren't perfect or anywhere as good as the real thing but it's a good supplement for for the time being. Here's some pics of the 2 games in action:

Where did you download them from??? I'd be interested in some Pinball games on the computer... Not exactly the same, but I'll take 'em...

Just remember you need to find the Visual Pinball program first (I can't remember where I downloaded it but it's there somewhere.) After you have that installed you can install PinMAME and from there you can run the fan made tables with the original ROM files. Pinball Nirvana SHOULD have Visual Pinball, PinMAME, the tables, and the ROMs on it's site. you just have to to a little detective work to find all the stuff you need.

EDIT: Here you go actually I found the Visual Install Pack. It should have everything you need minus the tables and ROMs. You'll have to look at the downloads page for that (hint: you need the stuff in the 2 right columns/tables.) Here's the link to the Install Pack:

I once asked someone how much it would cost to buy an arcade game and they were much cheaper than I expected, though more than I could afford when I was 20. I don't know about other countries but on the sides of the machines they have a number for servicing them. I called that number and asked how to buy one and went from there.

Maybe that would work for you?
