Dexter musings, Walking dead and the best show you never saw

aaron,

you really need to stop watching so much tv & start writing some games before we all end up in aged care.........................LOL

hey I can just picture it sitting in a rocking chair saying " I used play some top games on my computer can't remember the name now, but they were good"...............

I love breaking bad, but i hate what they made with dexter. The first season was excellent, but, after this one, i thought it was lame.
You need to read the books written by jeff lindsay (the first season is the adaptation of the first book "dexter in the dark"). Since i red all of them, i can't watch the show anymore (the story of the books is totaly different, less "politically correct"). Although, i think the cast of the dexter show is perfect.

(Sorry, my english is not perfect)
I just started watching Dexter recently. Season 1 was awesome. It had it's awkward moments, like when they've got the little Cuban kid witness and everyone's talking in Spanish and there's this sappy elevator music in the background, but overall:awesome.

I've been watching season 2 on netflix, and it's still good...but it seems off. Visually. Like the cinematographer of the first season quit or got fired and they hired someone else that sucked. Or they lost the high tech camera they recorded everything with and replaced it with a handheld digital home video camera from Best Buy. It's most noticable in the darker scenes where the lighting is poor, because they've got this look in those scenes that's almost straight out of any new Michael Mann film. The whole natural lighting thing. And it looks like poop. It's like you get these great actors and film them with shitty cameras.

Also, Rita's my least favorite character this season. Always bitching about something. Kids are still adorable.

If you can I'd suggest starting at the beginning. It can stand alone, but there's a lot of backstory and character development. If you can't well...they do a good job of re-capping.
well since paytv has a a history of all ways repeating things it's quite possible.
I also found breaking bad which is season 3

You gotta do breaking bad from the beginning. You are doing yourself a disservice by jumping in late. trust me on this one.
I've just caught up with Breaking Bad, saw the season 2 finale just minutes ago.

Can't wait for season 3. And Jen's right. This is one of those series you REALLY need to start at the beginning to enjoy fully. It's... awesome.

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
Ok, I am a Breaking Bad Addict.

This is my new favorite show.
The only show that I ever liked so much to buy on DVD was the X-files.
BTW I got the whole series for Christmas from the wife. She told me she found it brand new on Ebay for under a 100.

Anyway.
Breaking Bad is now tied with the X-files. I can't wait for the next week to see new episodes.

Starting into Season 2.
The part where Tuco's uncle shits on the floor is priceless... DING!!!!

Pinkman is awesome too and the chemistry between him and Walt is equal to that of Mulder and Scully. I like how Pinkman is always yelling.

Bad news about Breaking bad though.
Season 4 has been delayed until July.
Was supposed to start right after the they finished playing the encore of season 3 in March.

Looks like we are going to have to wait.
Friend who saw them all said things were coming to a head at the end of season 3 and he thought they might end it at the end of 4. Maybe they figured out a clever way to keep it going and refilmed some stuff.

Who knows.
All I know is this is the best show on TV right now.

I also like The Event. The acting isn't the greatest but it is interesting. At least it keeps me guessing enough to want to know what happens next.

I just doesn't draw you in quite as much as Breaking Bad.
It is still a decent show though if you are looking for an alien conspiracy type show along the lines of the x-files.

I've just seen every episode there is of Breaking Bad. I'm at a loss for words how awesome this show is.

I am on the episode where Walt asks Jesse to handle the situation and gives back the gun.

Please don't spoil it =)

I am following it on AMC, so I am watching 2 episodes a week.

Should end on March 21st, I think.

Without giving too much away, can someone tell me what Breaking Bad is about?
