Where's Baf Been?
Hey yeah, I remember Porridge Princess. She was the one with the Michael Jackson fanaticism, wasn't she?
And whatever happened to Doug Vandegrift's daughter?
And where the hell is Malloy!?

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
Not criticising or being argumentative, just trying to ascertain your meaning here; but what you're saying is that he left even though he loved the UTM forum?plumgas wrote:don't bet on itJoel wrote:It's entirely possible that while he enjoyed his time here, it just wasn't the closest thing to his heart.
Perhaps, Lynne, but I would like to add my 2 cents worth.
First, good to see Joliet Jane, even if it was brief. And we do miss many others who have come and gone. If they see this post, well, we miss you one and all.
Second, I have two brothers and one sister. We grew up in a small ranch house and sometimes the discussions got hotter than the summer heat. Even when I was in my 30's I found my sister and I still having heated arguments. Unfortunately, siblings just have their moments when words spew forth, feelings get hurt, and forgiveness seems unattainable. However, now I am 64 and my sister is 62 and we are VERY close. I cannot begin to express how happy I am that we never completely burnt our bridges; seared badly at times, but never burned out of control.
True, at times Baf could cause a furor within our community and I do not know all the facts and I would just as soon leave it that way. But there were many times his input, humor and fellow-feelings were evident. He was - and still is in my book - a sibling and he should feel secure in having an active share in this international family we are all a part of. No one - I repeat - NO ONE should feel not wanted or should feel the need to depart from our family UNLESS they are simply causing trouble for the sake of causing trouble! We've had to bar one or two in the past and we may need to do that in the future. If so, let it be handled in a spirit of mildness and according to the rules of our moderator.
I, for one, would love to see Bafitis posting again here at UOTM.
In the interim, I have deep feelings for all of you and I hope my comments do not injure our relationships.
