More updates at BFG

To the right we have an illustration of the Incentives offered during the initial launch of our KickStarter campaign.
I guess they just didn't crop it down after the Kickstarter finished.

The PayPal page still shows $250 max for rewards.

Though people can probably donate whatever amount they want, however I did hear that certain PayPal accounts have a limit of $500, some other Kickstarters therefore limited PayPal donations to under $500 and I don't think the Tex Murphy PayPal page ever had a option above $500. Though it has been awhile so I can't fully remember.

I guess that makes sense. I would've avoided putting the original incentives on that page. I think it's a bit confusing. Since the KS campaign is over, just put the PP stuff on that page.
Not sure about the rest of you, but I still am having a little trouble (mentally) "getting into" the BFG forums. Maybe I can't get used to the white background? LOL! That, or perhaps I just don't feel like I "know" the other contributors like I feel like I "know" some of you guys? :?

I'm not a big fan of the interface either really. It's great they fixed a few things but I still find other forum systems nicer to use (this site uses PHPBB I think)). I still sometimes have to fill in that Captcha thing just to edit a post or something unless thats been fixed now.

I also think the threaded replies don't work too well, which happens when you hit Reply on someones post. Because I think most people who have already visited a thread before look at the latest replies and don't check to see if there is a nested reply to an earlier comment.

I have similar complaints about the BFG forums, including the Capcha issue, which raised its ugly head only yesterday for me. And, of course, the nested replies don't really work at all ouside of a 'poll' post; i.e. a regular post.

They've definitely got some more debugging work to do.
This place will always be the official unofficial home for the Tex Murphy community for me.

What Cub said goes double for me.

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
I agree also, there is no place like home

I visit them all, but my heart is here! :D
Home is home. You visit other places for a while but you always come home here.

I think we're all agreed! There's no place like home.

Glinda said THREE times Dorothy, you're gonna wear those heels down!

At least we don't have to travel in a tornado or half-drowned down a river (as in Return to Oz), to go between this forum and the other.
