I watched The Holiday last night with Kate Winslett, Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, and Jack Black. I thought this was a very funny, and cute movie. Great for a date. I'm a big sap for cheesey love stories.

That was good Cub... I wish they had shown the damage they did to that Van though...

I went to see made of Honor today. Very predictable variation on same theme we've seen a hundred times. However, there was one thing that really caught my attention.

I've seen makeup to make someone look real fat, real old, different race, different gender...

But the opening scene of this movie takes place ten years earlier and Patrick Dempsey is supposed to be ten years younger. I don't know how they did it, but it is absolutely amazing. I would swear that he is 19 in that scene. Incredible, When did they get that good at making mature guys look like teenagers?

Also, Dempsey isn't that old either... Shave him with a Straight Razor, slap some make up on to cover up some worry lines and he could pass for a 20 year old, maybe... I haven't seen the movie yet, so I can't really form an opinion on my own visual intake... Though my wife is a fan of Dempsey's so I'm sure I'll end up seeing this movie soon...

I just got home from seeing Hors de prix (Priceless), which is a French romantic comedy.

I'll tell ya, the French really know how to make romantic comedies. It was very funny, clever, and had fresh and unique plot line instead of being another variation on the same old story. I highly recommend, if it comes to your area.

Priceless... Haven't heard of it, but will now keep my hears/eyes open... Thanks...


Just picked up the National Treasure 2: Book Of Secrets this evening and watched it... Awesome Movie... Just as good as the first... Though maybe not as much comedy between Cage and Kruger, due to the fact that they've now been a couple for awhile... Don't get me wrong, like I said it was just as good as the first, it had plenty of Comical Moments... I won't go into it, since it is fairly new, but I Highly Recommend it...

Waiting for the postman to come, due to illness i can´t go to the university anyway, so I´m waiting for my amazon package including Inland empire by David Lynch ( featuring Peter Lucas aka Von Glower from Gabriel Knight II ) Despite that I ordered some melancholic crime classics from France ( There are so many stunning movies from France and I´m expanding my knowledge). So I guess instead of seeing Indy4 in the cinema tonight I´ll watch these tonight and go to the cinema a couple of days later.

Sorry to hear you are down feeling Ill... Shame you are missing Indy tonight... I just left a review over in the Indy 4 Thread... Be careful there are Spoilers over there... I know there are spoilers in my review, but I'm assuming that anyone going into that thread has watched the movie or wants an inside view before seeing it...

So, all I'll say about Crystal Skull in here is, I Highly Recommend It... Eat some Chicken Soup and go see it as soon as you feel better... And by all means, Get Well Soon...

No big thing I´ll be fine in two or three days and now that i waited so many years for Indy4 I guess I can take a couple of days more.
And for the meantime I´ll spend the evening with watching some of my new dvds that arrived tonight. I just guess that if I start with 170 minutes of inland empire my head will be so messed up I can´t watch another film, so I´ll probably better start with one of the french films.

Can always count on you with that Positive outlook...
