Talent for a fan-made Tex Murphy game?
I would very much like to write music for such a game.

Really? I personally would want it to sound as much like Pandora as possible (some would say Overseer). Regardless, the music would definitely have to be in the old noir, P.I. vein. Is that genre within your musical repertoire?

Well, I think I was right in my original assumption that there is enough talent and motivation to start work on a fan-made Tex sequel. I'm not saying that it will happen right away, but it's an idea I've had for a while and it looks like it's possible to create a simple, quality '90s era adventure game in the Tex universe. Of course, now I should shut up until I or someone else comes with something more concrete. I can show you Tex's office with Tex walking around as a 2D sprite with LucasArts-style interface!
This is something I've been thinking about for a while too (check out some of my original posts to this forum). Let's see it, Mister Thaurin!

What I did was just take some screenshots from the Tex games and creating hotspots in the background images. The biggest problems is getting good images for characters in all required positions for a walking animation. Since I'm crap with graphics, I can't animate at all but in low-resolution/colour depth it's not so bad.
I'll need to get some better Tex images and make the scene a little more interesting, but I thought it was pretty cool, anyway.
The thing is, this way I'm limited to what's available in the games-- i.e. no new locations or original characters! Overseer is great for taking backgrounds, though.
