Gray matter anyone
No problem
Above the GK2 Interlace Patch there is a GK2 HD/DVD Installer. That one is the right one. ( You can make a DVD of the 6 Cds but you don´t have to, so maybe the name of the installer is a bit confusing but its also for non DVD drives).
The interlace patch makes the FMV sequences better, but it is automatically included in the HD/DVD Installer anyway.

Gotcha... Kewl...
How do I make a DVD out of the 6 CDs, just use my burn program or is there an option through the setup or something???

I don´t remember all of the details but what I do remember is that the setup routine is going to ask you about it. I never made a DVD version ( probably because I was too lazy to wait until all 6 cds would be copied to the harddisk.
) But I wasn´t aware of the existance of that interlace patch that is integrated in the DVD installer. Now that I know that, I´ll definately make myself a GK2 DVD with better video quality.
Well the company that puts the game out surely didn´t get sold.
DTP/ Anaconda is the european marketleader in adventuregaming since quite some years now. They put out a lot of adventures each year and they´re really an established company.
None of their games ever get canceled , put on hold or something like that ( Which is really good for my nerves concerning Gray matter).
I heard a rumor that GM will be released in the second quarter of 08 instead of the first quarter. But I would be fine with that, since it´s not really that long from now.
The rumor you read about a company being sold must be fake.
If something like that would have happened the team of the adventuresite I´m working for would have received information about that and If I´m wrong we´re really a bunch of losers.

this is what I read on gamespot
Gamers have been waiting a long time for the next offering from the "Queen of adventure." Jane Jensen's last big project, Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned, was released all the way back in 1999. Since then, Jensen has written novels and released a number of smaller casual games, including Inspector Parker and BeTrapped, but not a "proper" adventure.
Gray Matter (previously known cryptically as Project Jane-J) was originally announced back at 2003's Electronic Entertainment Expo as an Adventure Company title. However, a year later, Jane Jensen confirmed in an interview that development of the game had been put on hold. Nothing more was heard about it until August 2006, when it was announced that German publisher DTP Entertainment AG had revived the title and that it was good to go for a global fourth-quarter 2007 release.
However, it looks like adventurers will have to wait a little while longer, as it was announced today that the game had been put back to Q1 2008.
Gray Matter is a point-and-click adventure, in which you alternately control two characters: Samantha Everett, a street magician and drifter, and Dr. Styles, a neurobiologist who has become a recluse after the death of his wife in a car crash. Styles hires Samantha as his assistant, but she becomes increasingly concerned with the dark turns his research and experiments appear to be taking.
A spokesperson for DTP Entertainment said the game was delayed because, "We want to give the development team, the development process, and the game itself more time."

Yep you see DTP said it´s only delayed because they shall take the time they need- No company being sold.
It is known that Jane wanted to do the game some years ago, but it never really got further than a very early stage of development . But since August 2006 things changed, and since then Gray matter became a serious project with a solid fundament . So what you were talking about is the situation a couple of years ago, but it has nothing to do with what the game is today and with the publishing situation today.
But by the way the news that GM was delayed and should be out in the first quarter 2008 is quite some months old and now it looks more like they´ll officially announce something like that again- saying it will be out in the second quarter of 2008.

If you have a Game Stop near you, go inside and ask them, usually they have Release Dates in their computers that the public doesn't always know about... Sometimes you can even put 5 bucks down to ensure you get a copy when it first comes out...
I haven't been out recently or I'd do, don't plan on going out any time soon either... lol

I was referring to some time ago that the game was delayed due to change in company & not referring to recent issue. I think at the time I did a search on the company that was supposed to release it & found that some other company had taken it over, but then again it was a while back. If I find where I read it I will post the details.
I have been following this game for some time now.

Yeah the graphics look great. I´d just wish they would release a trailer soon that really shows a little more of the plot. That teaser was presented at the games convention in september 2007 and since then DTP pretty much made a big secret out of the game.
By the way: I really think that the light effects look absolutely stunning.

Sure wish I could read what was flying across the screen... lol
It does look pretty good... Been awhile since I've bought a game for the computer, minus the SIMS series for the wife...
Anyone know what the System Requirements are for this Game??? I looked around the website, but couldn't find it...
