He was a great writer, and will be sorely missed. I hope 2009 is much more forgiving.

My two wishes for 2009:
1) No one's loved ones dies.
2) We at least have the demo for Three Cards to Midnight

We ought to build a Park in his honour.

My wife has read many of his books and we both watch ER, not only is he now dead, they are Killing ER, this is the last season...
