So they have about the same life span as a Hamster... That's kewl... Sad a lot of animals don't live a lifetime with us... Like dogs, bigger dogs if you're lucky you'll get 12 to 15 years out of them, the smaller dogs you can get up to about 25 I believe is the longest lived on record... Cats will get up to somewhere between 20 and 30 if well taken care of...
But if you get an animal at 25, you already know it's not going to live your life with you... There are some exotic animals out there that you can get that will live many years... I remember a girl I dated whose grandmother had a bird and she always talked about how she got that bird when her daughter was just a baby, made that bird over 40 years old...
I'm looking into possibly getting a Caiman...
