50% 50%
True and correct. I was thinking the threshold requirement for Kickstarter percentages where the percentage is only achieved once it is hit rather than the rounded up equivalent. So I agree that $247,500 would do it, but a full figure would be nicerJen wrote:My maths say that 55% is 247,500.Joel wrote:We need $249,000 for that. I'd love to think we will today, but I think we'll just miss out. That said, we should hit somewhere around $255,000 tomorrow.
???
245000 guarantees our daily quota. That's the only number I care about right now
My only worry is the steady decline in the amount of pledges. Of course we have to expect low days, but while the dollars remain steady, the backers have slowed down since day two by about 25 each day. I hope this stops soon.
Maybe we haven't tried our friends and relatives hard enough

Indeed! Thinking the same thing, I just went on my Facebook page (wasteland that it is) and changed my profile pic to promote it. I even have an outstanding solicitation for a bribe saying that I'll change my pic to anything they like as long as they're the highest contributor to the Kickstarter campaign.Frank wrote:Maybe we haven't tried our friends and relatives hard enough
(No takers so far, though. Apparently you have to actually interact with people on Facebook in order to show up in their feeds. I hate Facebook.)

You know, call me a dumb American, but it just now occurred to me: how does Kickstarter funding currency show up in other countries? Everyone's talking about pledges in U.S. dollars -- does everyone else have to convert their currency in order to figure out what to spend, or does Amazon Payments convert it for you? That would sorta stink.
