Think 'sombrero' for large, and Cathy's cat hat for small.

If you have a roll of measuring tape, see if this is any way applicable:

Hm. Well, I always needed to get my head examined I suppose.

One more thing that's coming to my ... head right now is a couple of details surrounding international shipments of Tex swag. Don't know if anyone on the BFG team reads the fine print on these forums, so I added the same questions in brief format to the special instructions field on the survey:

* Would obviously be preferable with everything in one shipment if possible. Nothing like unwrapping the Tex Murphy Swag Motherload.

* Every item needs to be protected - wrapped in cellophane, or in a sturdy cardboard box of it's own, or something, to protect from being handled by customs. A shipment like this is highly unlikely to slip through our customs barrier undisturbed, unless they can somehow arrange to have it delivered in the dead of night on an incoming Icelandic fishing vessel or something. Technically only the books and comic are exempt from customs fees.

* For the higher tier reward shipments at least, I think insurance on the shipment should be added. That should probably be handled by the sender - although I'm not sure how insurance would work for international shipments. Maybe it works best if they can use the same carrier all the way, like UPS. I'm sure they'll figure something out.

Given that the development and eventual release of the game is almost a year and a half away (12 - 15 months development which has yet to have commenced, then you have to add promoting, physically manufacturing and distributing the product), it wouldn't surprise me if they syphon the incentives out in increments. By releasing the stuff every one to two months, it makes the wait less arduous. So in one month you may get your shot glasses, a couple of months later the novels or comics, maybe the box set in time for Christmas, then perhaps in the new year we'll hear the new Radio Theatre episodes.

That's the best way to do it otherwise if you get it in one package, then the gap between receiving the goods and the release of the game is quite wide. Also, when factoring in the shipping weight, i'd say it would be cheaper to send out the physical goods in dribs and drabs, especially if we're talking international shipping.

As for shipping insurance, not sure. But given that one of the products are made of glass, it's certainly within the contemplation of Big Finish to apply some additional padding to product the delicate nature of the products.

Thanks for the chart Joel. Looks like I'm a little below a small. I wonder where the autograph is going to be located?

Hmmm....has anyone else not received their survey in their email yet? As of today, I still have not gotten mine. Logging into Kickstarter, there are no messages for me, either.

For PayPal they will have to send out surverys manually as far as I know whereas Kickstarter is setup to easily create a survery and mass mail it all in one go. So likely there will be some delay for the PayPal stuff. Also they may wait until PayPal is officially over and closed and then gather up all details to go through.
