I not sure how they're getting past the image-key verification during the signup process, but I've now turned on the option that requires me to personally approve any new members to the board. Hopefully I can weed them out before they ever get in in the first place now.

It's a spammer. I just got notification a few minutes ago that they (it?) signed up, but I didn't approve them.
FYI, profiles will appear under the "Newest registered member" item on the front page, but they should be unable to post anything until I personally approve them.
