I liked Eric Bischoff...I liked what he was doing with WCW there for a few years. I think he played a really big part in getting them as successful as they were. Although, I didn't like it when he decided to start getting into the matches and being a performer himself...kinda lame.

At the time when I was watching WCW I hated Bischoff. But now when I look back over the old stuff. I find him very entertaining, and a pretty clever guy in real life.

I highly recommend TNA on Spike TV if you really do want to watch again... I myself try to stay away from the McMahon family... I don't watch it regularly like I did WCW, but TNA is a lot like WCW was I think...

Joe vowed that if he couldn't beat Kurt Angle at the payperview that he was gonna retired... Of course he won... So he doesn't have to retire...
Sting supposedly had a pretty big match up himself at the payperview... I'll need to watch myself in order to catch up... He is teamed up with Kevin Nash again though... I'm doubting it will happen, but I keep expecting to see Lex Luger come back...

Wow, I was under the impression that Lex Luger was dead. Well, I suppose thats good for him. I was always a big fan of Kevin Nash. I would have liked Scott Hall a lot too if he could ever stay on for more than a week.

His real name is Lawrence Pfohl {Lex Luger} and according to his IMDB page below, there is no Date Of Death...
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0679567/
Also according to his IMDB page, he was on AWE Overload in 2006... So he is still dabbling in the business... AWE was in Canada...
Apparently it didn't last long either according to the info below...
IMDB wrote:AWE Overload was a TV show from Action Wrestling Entertainment that aired on The Fight Network in January of 2006, there were only 7 episodes aired. All of the episodes were taped at the Investors Group Athletic Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The shows contained a mix of in-ring professional wrestling (including MMA exhibitions) and backstage interviews and vignettes. It was the first Winnipeg-based professional wrestling TV show to be on a national network on a weekly basis. AWE would also feature the entire show on their website a week after it aired on The Fight Network.
So he isn't Dead, just seems that no one wants him anymore...
As for Scott Hall, has appeared on TNA a handful of times... His most recent stuff has him on JCW SLAM TV... IMDB didn't have any more info on JCW, apparently it was just a thing they did, twice, there is a Volume 1 and 2, both made 2007...
As for him only appearing for a week at a time and then being gone for a month or more, I would point that towards his Drug Use... In and Out of Rehad, he couldn't keep clean... His Ex-Wife complained to and then blamed Bishoff and others for not helping him and Exploiting his problems by writing the drinking and drugs into his character on the show...
So if he is still having his problems, that would more than likely be the reason why he rarely appears anymore... But according to the info where I got everything else, he is Currently working for WWC under the name Razor Ramon... That's the name he used back when he first started wrestling for WWF in the early 90s...

Edited - New Information on Lex Luger...
Well this will teach me to watch TNA more I guess...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lex_Luger
According to information on that link, Luger HAS Appeared on TNA...
Wikipedia wrote:Total Nonstop Action Wrestling
In late 2003 Luger began working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), appearing on November 12, teaming with Jeff Jarrett in a loss to Sting and A.J. Styles.[116] He returned to TNA on February 25, 2004, interfering in Styles' match with Abyss for sole possession of the NWA World Tag Team Championship and helping Abyss defeat Styles.[117]
Throughout 2004 and 2005, Luger made sporadic appearances on the independent circuit.[1] He returned to TNA in 2006, first appearing during the April 27 TNA Impact! as the second of Sting's potential tag team partners for Sacrifice.[118] Throughout September and October, he appeared on Impact! as one of the people (along with Buff Bagwell) helping Sting to "prepare" for his upcoming match against Jarrett at Bound for Glory.[119] After Sting won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, Luger retired from wrestling.

A note on Lugers persona:Luger was involved in quite some scandals throughout the last years, which might be a reason that WWE doesen´t give a damn´ about him anymore.
I remembered some of the stuff only vaguely so I looked it up again. I´ll just post that part from wikipedia if you ( Baf) or anybody else is interested in the Luger Story.
On April 19, 2003, Pfohl was involved in a domestic dispute with his then-current live-in girlfriend, former valet Elizabeth Hulette, in the garage of their townhouse in Marietta, Georgia; Pfohl had allegedly struck her. Cobb County police found Elizabeth with two bruised eyes, a bump on her head and a cut lip. Pfohl was charged with a misdemeanour count of battery and released on $2,500 bond. Two days later on April 21, Pfohl was arrested for driving under the influence after rear-ending another car while driving his Porsche. According to the report on the arrest, Pfohl had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes and could not locate his driver's license. Pfohl had a 9 mm handgun in the car. Elizabeth was a passenger in the vehicle, and was sent home in a taxicab. Pfohl was also driving with a suspended license for not appearing in court on March 5, 2003 for a hearing on a previous offence (driving with expired tags and having no proof of insurance).[124]
On May 1, 2003, Hulette died in the townhouse they shared in Marietta, after mixing pills of hydrocodone, Alprazolam (Xanax), and anabolic steroids (testosterone and sazien) with vodka. Pfohl was arrested later that day after a search of the residence revealed a number of illicit controlled substances, including anabolic steroids, OxyContin, synthetic growth hormone, testosterone, and Alprazolam. He was charged with 14 drug possession counts, 13 of them felonies. He was released the following day on $27,500 bail. Hulette's death was eventually ruled accidental. Pfohl pled guilty to the charges on February 3, 2005. He was given a $1,000 fine, sentenced to five years probation, and required to submit to periodic drug testing.[125]
In December 2005, Pfohl and fellow wrestlers Marcus "Buff" Bagwell and Scott Steiner were removed from a flight from Minneapolis, Minnesota to Canada. They were detained for several hours before Bagwell and Steiner were released, while Pfohl was held without bail as a result of two outstanding felony charges in the state of Georgia (he had neglected to obtain permission to leave the country from his parole officer). Pfohl was detained in the Hennepin County jail for two weeks before being extradited to Georgia to stand trial on December 22, 2005. Pfohl was sentenced to nine weeks imprisonment, and was released in February 2006

It's amazing what people will try to get away with, especially when they have the means {meaning Money}... It's like Wesley Snipes refusing to pay Taxes... All that Freakin' money he makes and he can't shell a few bucks back... What The Hell??? I like him as an Actor, I think he is great, but I'm glad the judge didn't give him a break because he is famous... I wish Paris had gotten the same judge...
Anyway back to Luger... I read most of that, I posted the link if any one wants to read about his entire career... I'm a speed reader so it doesn't take me long to read things when I want to... I read about him, Sting, Warrior, Piper, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash... Amazing some of the things some of these people get into... I also read about Chris Benoit, but I don't really think we need to talk about him, may he and his family rest in peace... Sad thing addiction, that's all I'll say... He was a great wrestler though...
Luger was a helluva wrestler... Most everyone we grew up with and like are pushing 50 if not over 50... Everyone that I mentioned above, Benoit Excluded {1967}, was born in either 1958 or 1959... Making them all turning 50 this year or next... No matter how good of shape you keep in, your body will still tire on you in time...

Yeah it´s right, those wrestlers that we grew up with are still active but are really getting old.
I mean I couldn´t believe it when I heard Nash is nearly 50.
On the other hand most of the midcard wrestlers that didn´t make it to the superstarlevel are going on and on and on, because they never learned something else and they need the cash. So in some cases it´s sad to watch some people making themselfs an embaressment.
Jake the Snake Roberts is one of these guys, he´s really done. Longtime drug addict and a very sad person.
I agree Baf its unbelievable what some people think they can get away with, so I agree that it´s good someone like Snipes gets locked away. I always try to think what a poor "regular" criminal has got to feel, when he sees celebrities buying themselfs out of prison.
Some current wrestling news : Triple H is the new WWE Champion after winning a four man elemination match against Cena, J.B.L. and former Champion Randy Orton last night at Backlash.

Talent sure isn't what it use to be... I think that is one of the bigger reasons some of the older wrestlers stick around as long as possible to try and teach the new generation the old ways so that wrestling stays interesting... Unfortunately too few of the newer guys listen... Wrestling will most likely die out over the next couple of decades...
A lot like Baseball... Baseball is about half as popular as it was 30 years ago, because the players that really played for the love of the game have/are retiring and the new players care more about "How Many Zeros Can I Get Tacked Onto My Contract"... Basketball went that way a long time ago... Football still has some value to it at least, but it's losing it's focus as well... People like Tom Brady are few and rare these days... I'm not trying to start any kind of Football war, I'm just talking about his love of the game... He turned down a 5 million dollar raise to stay with New England... He has also taken pay cuts to keep certain players, due to the Salary Cap that is placed on the teams... He is a True Hearted Football Player... Those types are retiring and leaving the sports...
Wrestling is no different in this manner... Everyone worries about how much money they can make, then you have people like The Rock and John Cena who think, well if they won't pay me, maybe I can Act... And guess what... THEY CAN'T!!! lol

It seems to me that not too long ago I heard that Lex Luger underwent surgery and somehow or another was paralyzed from the waist down for steroid problems he's had in his life. He was on the media a lot last year after Chris Benoit killed himself, and he talked down the whole wrestling industry. A few months ago I remember reading he was doing better, and was able to walk again, or was getting there or something. I don't think we'll ever see him on wrestling again, but stranger things have happened.

Present Circumstances
Pfohl credits Steve Baskin, the pastor of Western Hills Baptist Church in Kennesaw, Georgia, with pulling him from a terminal tailspin. The jail chaplain met Pfohl in early 2006 and sensed the former wrestler was spiritually bankrupt. As of July 2007, Pfohl lives in a spare bedroom in Baskin's apartment and is trying to figure out a path in life. Pfohl also is an admitted steroid user who says he took handfuls of pills a day in a recent interview.
Lex now resides in England, where he posts on the UKFF educating fans on the dangers of Pro Wrestling, Steroid abuse and lying about the fact that he was the greatest World Champion of all time.[127][128]
[edit] "Spinal Stroke"
On October 19, 2007, Pfohl suffered a nerve impingement in his neck that led to temporary paralysis. He was at Stanford Hospital in stable condition. He underwent intravenous antibiotic treatment and was expected to make a full recovery.[129]
Pfohl issued a statement thanking all of his fans for their continued support. He mentions that doctors are puzzled how this happened, and are not sure if the damage done is permanent. He continues to say that life is fragile, and not to take it for granted.[130]
Nearly a month after his "spinal stroke", Pfohl was finally transferred from California to an Atlanta hospital. He was still in a quadriplegic state, having no movement in either his arms or legs. Pfohl was scheduled to have hip replacement surgery the week before, had it not been for the stroke. Doctors had told him that they would be amazed if he was able to walk without the surgery.[131]
Despite regaining some feeling and movement, Pfohl still remains paralyzed.[132]
Nikita Koloff appeared on the Wrestling-Radio.com online show and gave an update on Pfohl. He said he's traveled twice recently to see Pfohl. He said Pfohl is still in a wheelchair after the San Francisco wrestling convention fiasco, and that for a long time, he was paralyzed from the neck down. After Pfohl spent a week at Stanford Hospital, tests determined nothing. He was sent to an Atlanta rehab facility where their testing also came back with no answers. According to Koloff, "Lex said his spinal column short circuited," but lately he's been making "remarkable improvement." According to Koloff, Pfohl can lift his legs and move his torso, and can hold a can in his hand. Koloff quoted Pfohl as saying, "I've had 49 good years with these legs, and if I never walk again, I'll be the best wheelchairer for Jesus you've ever seen."
He was recently seen in April of 2008 at the hospital in Atlanta pushing himself around with his arms in a standard wheelchair.
Yeah I read this yesterday when I breezed through his Bio on Wikipedia... Confirmed my doubts of him returning to wrestling... If he does come back it will only be as a figure head and he won't be doing any wrestling...
It's amazing how good of shape you can keep in, but in the end, does it really matter when you can fall to strange physical illnesses just as well as anyone else...

No, but still... Have you seen those Commercials for the Blood Clot medicine??? They talk about the guy who eats right, and jogs and is perfect shape, but will have a heart attack in 4 days...
Pretty much the same thing... Steroids aren't good for you, I'm not trying to say that, but they shouldn't have caused the problems that he is currently having either... But that is why things are deemed illegal, because they can indeed have unknown serious side effects...
According to a statement he made, he says that his Doctors are puzzled on how or why the nerve in his neck became impinged...
