Unofficial Tex Murphy

This chat just doesn't work for me. In fact, it drains my computer's resources for some reason.

Why don't we just start a Tex Murphy IRC channel in one of the bigger, free, and open IRC servers? Anyone who knows a bit more than me (that is, can set up the channel and the settings) care to start one up? I'll join. You can get IRC clients for free. I use an old standard one called mIRC that was very popular back in the day.

Yeah it is, but Marso's post stating the chat had been moved to EFNet and #texmurphy is buried in subsequent pages in the thread unfortunately. Should probably be in the first post if possible.
