Which actors do you want to see return?

It's not really a branch though, FBI, CIA, DEA, etc, are all just Agencies or Departments really... They can answer to any of the 3 branches at any given time depending on the circumstances... They could be hauled into court to face the Judaical branch while being called into Congress to answer questions for the Legislative Branch and usually the heads of these Agencies are appointed by the Executive Branch and submit daily and/or weekly reports to the Executive Branch... It's all one big machine and sometimes we don't want to know what happens in the basement...

No one I know even considers the TSA to be an Agency...

Now everybody's off-topic! LOL But there's not really all THAT many people in the games, bound to run out of suggestions eventually.

At first I thought about asking you, jokingly, if you'd ever waterboarded anyone. But then I realized that asking you, of all people, such a question might light a spark in a tinderbox. And I don't want to be the guy who starts the fire. That would give Billy Joel someone to blame, finally.

So let me rephrase the question - What goes on in the goverment's basement, Baf? Any secrets to reveal? Go on! You can be "Deep Throat", if you want. The Mark Felt one, not the... Linda Lovelace one, I mean. Ahem.

And sorry for derailing the thread completely but Baf's shadowy government line of work is totally fascinating my ass! This is some murky, deep, dark and dank William B. Davis stuff you got going on!

Or are you content with "Government Interrogator"? Which sounds so ominously Orwellian anyways, it's almost just as good!

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
Baf is actually Jack Bauer.

Of the actors/characters I want to see return, here's my list:

-Lucia Pernell: I just love her. Her scene in the B&S is among my favorites in PD and she's still very relevent as a source of info for Tex.

-Wanda Peck: I loved the dynamics between her and Tex in TMO and, as part of CAPRICORN, she could be really useful. Oh, and she's HOT!

-Archie Ellis: I confess, that desire to see Archie again comes mainly from his Kickstarter video. Not that I disliked the guy before, no. It just seemed to me that having Archie again might feel forced upon us, because he's the conspiracy theorist guy and "you have to have one of those". But, in his KS video, he brought up the Caycian Faction and the Tesla stuff and, suddenly, he felt relevent again. That and he charmed me all over again.

-Of course, Louie, Rook and Clint. Being a part of the Radio Theater made them, in my eyes, an integral part of Chandler Avenue crew. Would have been the same for Mac Malden. Nilo should be in too, since there's a serious relationship between him and Tex. As for Zack Williams, Ardo Newpop, Beek Nariz, Sal Lucido and Gus Leach, I say bring them only if they have a good part to play. Same for Franco Franco, Mick Flemm, Hamm Underwood and most of the other parts. Eddie Ching could work because she has a certain status in the underworld so, if that come into play, she could be useful. As for Emily Sue Paterson, in my opinion, she got to go. Don't get me wrong, I liked her in PD, but she falls in what I would refer as the "Bond Girls" category of characters and those cannot be used twice. The FFlamingo, if it's still there, should have another singer.

I guess my main message here is this: don't bring a character back just for the sake of bringing him back. That would be just bad. Have Louie, Rook and Clint and that's it for me as far as repopulating Chandler Avenue is concerned. Have Chelsee for obvious story reasons. The rest? I leave it into the capable hands of Aaron Conners.

I rarely get to deal with people outside the government... I'm one of the people that detect and then question Moles/Leaks or other related type incidences... I guess if you want to relate it to a movie character I would say think of "Meet The Parents" and then think of Robert De Niro's former job in that movie... Nothing too outrageous but still classified so details cannot be shared... No, no water-boarding... Usually just me and the other person in a dimly lit room with a couple of cups of coffee {or preferred beverage}...

The sad part {for me anyway} is that most people know who I am and what I do {and others like me} and they know why they are coming to see me and we usually end up with more confessions rather than me getting to enjoy what I do... lol
I'm also used in cases such as those soldiers in Iraq who tortured prisoners, but denied doing so... So they call in someone like myself for a little chit-chat to get to the bottom of things...
So like I said no Secret Agent stuff, but yes for outsiders it can seem quite "Shadowy"...

Derailing of Threads is a common thing here...
The only Thread over 3 pages that has stuck to its original topic is our Movie Thread or Fan-Fictions... lol

So, it's safe to say... Mr. Bafitis. Your reputation precedes you.

In some cases... lol
I'm far from the best in the field though... We have a few who are just simply feared by all who know their name... I don't even like talking to them on a casual level half the time...

It's not a returning character or actor, but a new one if they end up putting it in... Who do you think would be a good person for the role of the Rival Detective??? Someone older or younger or around the same age??? Someone funny or someone more serious???

I can't imagine them not bringing back Chelsee, because she was a big driving force for Tex. If they do bring her back, I wonder if the actor's age would pose a problem. Suzanne Barnes may look a lot different now. And her character doesn't have the mutant look (even though she is one) so she can't hide her age with mutant makeup. Other characters like Louie and Rook were so thick with mutant makeup that it probably wouldn't matter if the actors aged 10-20 years.

But then again, maybe they won't bring back Chelsee. In UAKM, she only had in a few moments at the newsstand and had little to do with the main plot. In Pandora, her character was again marginalized when she had to "move to Arizona". In Overseer, which showed her to be closest to Tex as ever, she again had very little to do with the main plot.

They had three chances to do the obvious: have Tex HIRE Chelsee as his assistant and make them an official couple and keep their dynamic in the game, like so many of the well-known on-screen sleuthing couples we have seen and loved. But they never did, and they probably will never do.
Suzanne hasn't aged a day. No worries.

I would love to see Jacques Sparrow from Martian Memorandum make a comeback, most popularly as a bad guy or as a rival PI. I always liked his fake French accent ("Mon Dieu! What the hell are you doing here?")

Suzanne hasn't aged at all. She looks to be still in her forties, so that doesn't surprise me. I was one of the few people to see her Facebook profile picture and see looks the same as she did in Overseer.

Her teaming up with Tex won't fit into the new game, but I'd like to see her come back as a minor character.
