I agree. Trying to get in the last word on ANY post is immature and childish. (So says TOG who has now entered his second childhood.)

I would almost be a sucker for tradition, and say Jim should get the last word, because he's older and wiser. If it weren't for this darn post ...

Admittingly, while Return of the King had many endings, Peter Jackson cut out several endings from the book. So...blame Tolkien for that one.

I can't blame Tolkien because I didn't read the books. I saw the movie. Thus, P.J. gets the wrath.

As for Jim having the last word...I've worked too hard in this thread to stop now.
