The comapny who was managing my webspce went bust!
So there goes 500mb of webspace, and with it my entire company website, al the Tex Murphy files and images/signatured... EVERYTHING!
BUT...
There is some good news in amidst all of this...
I just purchased 5GB of new webspace (beter than the 500mb I used to have)! Am currently in the process of setting it all up now and hopefully everything will be back online shortly. So hang tight! The domains wll remain the same, I will just relink eveyrthign so you don't have to change anything.
I apologise for any inconvenience this will cause anybody.

Yikes! I hope you haven't lost anything permanently. Look forward to your new space. How about a nice re-launch party?? I'll bring the cake.

Well, the good news is, a good friend also was involved with the company and informed me of how pretty much all their contacts had dropped off the face of the Earth and so I knew that this might happen eventually so I dmade regular backups of the content.
Alas, yesterday morning it did happen and I lose everything that was stored on the server, but I am currently in the process of uploading the backup.
Even better news is these guys are now based in Sydney (the others were in Canada) which means lightning fast speed for me (and a relatively fast speed for US and UK visiters too)... and they use the same platform as the old providers so it's a fairly seamless transition.
Content it currently being uploaded (sigs and aimges are already up as you can tell) and the rest (including Lombard St and the Tex Murphy soundtracks and videos will be up shortly).

What a relief! Your site is such a wealth of data - the very internet itself is indebted to your new provider and the good sense that prompted you to make back-ups!

Thanks guys!
Just one more thing, becuase the server is now in Sydney (no longer in Canada) I am curious as to how this effects the download speeds for US/UK visitors.
would someone who resides in either of the two please visit and download a file and tell me what your download speed is. Just so I can tweak anything if there are any issues.
Thanks!

P.S. The move gave me a great opportunity to clean out all the crap that had accumulated over the years... but if there are any missing or broken links to pages or content please let me know so I can fix it! Thanks!

I just DL the intro music to UAKM and it did so at 123KB per second.
