daemon tools

don't how long its been out, but daemon tools have their pro software out now which you can now mount up to 23 virtual drives & also create & burn all in the same program. Stopped using virtual drive by farstone due to it slowing down the pc too much. Price is about $27US - $37AU
I stopped using Daemon Tools quite a while ago after it made my monitor go all black during startup. Either that or the Alcohol 120% program did that to my computer, so I haven't dared to try any of the programs since then.

So I'm using PowerISO instead which works perfectly fine for my needs ;)

gee never had a problem with daemon tools, only virtual drive which I have had up to version 10. Doesn't like my system with 2 dvd drives.
Maybe you were using a old version of daemon tools.

A lot people moved to other programs when you could only mount 4 drives, I also used nero which allowed to mount 2 drives which gave me the 6 . DT pro it is very fast with making a image.
I still use FastStone on my Win98 machine and have Moon, Pandora, Grim Fandango, Full Throttle and 3D Movie Maker all mounted and it works really well... no visible slowdowns. On my other PCs I have never had the need to mount more than 4 anyway... so I guess I am stitting comfortably... but it is good new that Daemon is supporting more drives in their more recent releases.

I used to use daemon tools but it didnt work with a lot of things. Power Iso has been my king for a while now.

You must remember to make sure the specifid security emulators on Dtools are on depending on what type of security measures the disc uses to protect from copying. I find that if you are conscious of that there are not a lot of Discs that cannot work with Dtools.
