Gone Chibi!

Chibi is referring to the style of drawings in my new sig and Av... a few artists on DA have a lot of fun drawing Chibi (which means short / minature) and are basically drawings of mini versions of characters, either famous or make beleive.

One such artist who I watch drew these Chibi (they are not mine), and I love them so much that I have featured them in my new Av and Sig.

I basically took a bunch of their Chibi for the sig and stood them together so they look like a group, and put them on top of that blue box in the BG. I think it works well.

The one as my avatar is Orin, and he looks awesome cool.

Ah, yes... perhaps I just have weird taste in things. Oh well. :P

Please note that both the Sig and Avatar are meant to have transparent backgrounds, so if you see white boxes around them, you probably are using Internet Explorer 6 or earlier, which cannot handle PNG images (PNG provides superior transparency effects which IE6 does not handle)... so if you don't have IE7, get it! :D ...or any other broswer that supports PNG images becuase it is well worth it as PNG is becoming more and more popular (caus let's face it, Gif sucks!).

Very cool artwork, like it :D
Who is the artist though? Maybe put a link in your sig space.

I like this artist on DevArt who does a lot of chibis (sadly theyve taken alot of their work down it seems... maybe due to all the thefts they got)

THAT's what I forgot to do! ...yeah I hate image theft as much as the next bloke... so =Endling was the artist. Thansk for reminding me Sai!

Had a look at =homoshiroi's gallery, very awesome! I read their blog entry; I am always so sad when I hear about great artists getting kicked out of home and getting hard done by. But I am always optimistic that as long as someone has some kind of talent they are never really alone.

What? Are you implying I was under the influence of alcohol? I am always levelminded and sober! I reject your attempts at... oh what the heck, yeah I was :D

Also, I work shifts :D And I have two weeks of free time now until I start a new shift-period again!

And I passed my theory-test on forklifters, going to learn how to drive one this week. If I don't screw up, I'll be a Forklifter-pilot! :D

Vrooom!
