Ahoy there everyone,
Christmas party time as you ewould imagine, and it time for Cub to pull another Cub.
As much as I would love to say that my girlfriend was accomodating as you guys, it is sadly no the case. Tried tonight a nice 95% pure alocohol vodka mix which one upped my Stroh from last time and I am over the edghe.
And so the whole "I drink and you drive me home" policy made my girl a bvity mad... okay i am just rambling now... I have a pretty good xmas lights display, must post pics later on.
Oh... I witsnessd two girls pashing... umm it was interesting. But I don't have pics to post, use your imagination fellas.
You all rock, I am feelign a bit sick... excuse my post, it's a bit totally "you know"... but then again that's the magic of christmas parties.

Anyhow, hope it was just a little spat, and the two of you are still together. You just should have sucked it up, and agreed to call a cab. It's no fun when all your friends are partying, and you have to stay sober. (Actually, for me, it is a little fun. I can mess with the drunk ones mercilessly, and they usually don't remember. You can find out the most interesting stuff....)
Hope you avoid a hangover.

sounds like you had a great night aside from the argument - always happens when you are drunk though. We had our work christmas party today and I had a falling out with some mates. Hopefully all will be ok by monday but who knows (or cares).
Sadly no girlies making out, your night far better than mine. Hope there's no hangover in the morning and would love to hear the story of 'the morning after the night before'

I'm going to the Xmas-dinner thing with my shift tomorrow night (Saturday evening, norwegian time). Should be fairly interesting. We start off early (15:00) at one of the guys' place, move on to the restaurant at 18:00-ish, eat a very nice dinner, then it's on to the alcomahol from there on out.
I wouldn't hold your breath for a post however. I'm going to take it slow due to just having recuperated from a bowel-wrenching, bazookapuke-inducing illness called the Common Cold. It's a thing that's been going around my town these last few weeks. If you can stay warm and stay healthy, I thoroughly recommend it.
Also I'm in the 3rd paragraph already and coincidentally I started another sentence with the word 'also', and have yet to comment that Cub is the undisputed King of Cubbing. Or is that Cubbage? Regardless, hope fun was had, and home was reached. And if you avoided that hangover-deal you should be all good.
Or well chuffed, as some say.

Thanks for indulging me with your replies. I have made a full recovery now, but I did have a hangover... probably my worst yet. You see, I had no dinner before I began drinking "socially", and had no water to replce my fluids before crashing to bed (two big no-noes!)... not to mention trying a shot of that 95% Vodka (which I think is called Vodka-95) ...But it's all good, finally.
As for my girl, tomorrow we celebrate dating for two years and this morning (after the usual hangover bits and bobs) we went shopping for her gift which was something nice, shiny and made of gold. So she was more than forgiving that I did not forget to treat her, as I promised.
More good news is, it was a christmas party among friends, not work colleagues... so I won't have to face anyone come Monday morning.
Anyway, thanks again guys...

Hi guys and gals. Sorry I haven't been active lately, Christmas time around my place isn't like the television shows. It's intense, high strung, and stressful as all heck. But I'm hanging in there, and not veering off onto any "Broken Dreams" story plot points in my life yet, so all is good. I metaphorically put my mental state in a "Lombard Street" path. It will all work itself out in the end, and then the January "god I spent all my money on gifts and the electric is how much!?!" month of glory will be upon me.
