And maybe should be on another part of the forum, but does anyone actually know how you log out?

If it's showing in your browser (Safari?) like it is mine (Firefox), it's in the upper right of this page. To the left of Tex's face it should say "Log out [ Demonlawyer ]"

Agreed... I keep this baby logged in so that I don't have to keep re-typing my password every time I come for a visit.
Although whenever I clear out the cookies as part of regular spring cleaning I lose the log-in... alas, it's no major issue.

Like Cub I keep logged in all the time. However, every so often I run a drive cleaner program and it automatically logs me out of anything I'm logged into.

Only because I´m on someone else´s computer. I went on holiday over the summer and found a computer in the hotel we could use and someone was still logged into facebook. It showed me all their personal details and I could do whatever I liked with their profile.
Not that I did, but still, when I´m on someone else´s computer I try and log out when I´m finished.
