I heard the life expectancy is something painful and I heard he might have weeks or months left to live but I am uncertain. You guys know?

I hope the actor beat the odds but i think there is no cure to remove pancreatic cancer, right?

its sad our medical technology are very limit and we are not very advance in medical technology to cure all cancers types like the Star Trek or other futurist medical technology type we see on television.

Thats a shame. Wouldn't want anyone to have to go through anything like that.

I wouldn'y believe everything you read so far. While it is true that Patrick has pancreatic cancer, I heard a conflicting report on radio announcing the good news that his life expectancy has not been reduced and doctors claim that he has responded well to treatment. So, there's hope for Mr. Swayze yet.

I heard it on TV that he has weeks to just a few months to live...

according to msn, he wasn't responding well to chemo but other treatments were working for him....I don't know....it's sad because he's a pretty cool guy....I will always be particular to the movie Road House..."The name..is Dalton.."

If its just in the pancreas how about a pancreas transplant.

Not quite sure they do that type of transplant...

could mean early stages....there's a possibility, and I don't know much about his case, that the doctors found it early, and maybe that's why he's having success with different types of treatment....the first and best treatment for any kind of cancer is early detection. My mom is an oncology supervisor at the hospital in Owensboro, KY...she's been working with cancer patients for years now so she knows the signs.

Wouldn't they have stated that they found it early, instead of saying something weird like "A Small Amount Of The Disease"??? Doctors, leave it to them to twist things to make them sound smart... It's all guess work in a White Jacket...

Anyone of use could go to school for an extra 10 years and know the same stuff and do the same Guess Work...
We just choose to have a Fun Life...


I think he'll pull through, even though the news stated yesterday that it has a 99% fatality rate...
