* MASQUE - Final film is online! *

Sorry for the silence regarding the film since the screening. Have been working pretty had to get copies out to all those involved and encode a version for online viewing (not to mention investigating festival options).

The screening went very well, and the film was very well received.

Without further adieu, here is the link to the film: http://www.provisionaustralia.com.au/Masque/

Now the website is password protected for the sole reason that I don't want people outside of this community getting their hands on the film before it has a chance to be released to festivals, and so treat this as a private screening and please do not distribute to anyone online (family and friends are okay, but in person if possible). In order ensure that only this community can access the film, here are sone Tex Murphy based clues on what the access details are:

User Name: Chelsees Brother's first name (capital first letter)
Password: In order to talk to Ferral Pus, you need to speak this password (no caps, no spaces)

If you don't know the details, PM myself, or one of the other members who knows the answer.

I hope you enjoy the final film... it has been a logn time coming (over one and a half years), but its finally finished!

Extra special thanks again to Matt Heider (Tex Murphy maestro!) for his wonderful musical score!

EDIT > No this is NOT an April Fools joke!
I will have a look-see, as soon as I recall what the password was. Dang it, brain... Work!!

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
Nice! Congrats on the completion, Cub! I'll be sure to take a look at it in a bit when I've got some time.

Aw, Cub! It's fantastic! I love it - love the effects! Nice Cameo by the way
Say, how did you do the blood-drop effects in the intro? It's a really nice splatter effect you have going on, and being a 3d/post guy myself I'd love to know...

They were done in After Effects buy a guy named Ken Abbott (a friend of mine)... not sure exactly how the final effect was achieved, but he used the Riot Gear stock set (of different kinda of video splatter masks) and applied them on the paper textured plane in a 3D space and simply panned the camera across the details. I assume you probably can alraedy imagine how it would've been done based on that.

Schweet!!! Thanks! I was hoping it was something simple like that :)
I probably would have tried to do it all with particle and liquid simulators in 3d - a pin in the arse! Thanks Again!

Okay...I got the user name, thanks to radio theater, but who is Ferral Pus? I've only played Pandora and Overseer, so I'm assuming he was in one of the other games.

Pus is the name of the Guy you have to get your Moon Base Ticket from in UAKM... He makes you play a life or death game of Shell in order to win the Ticket...

I guess my computer just decided to suck because I got 7 and a half minutes into the movie and it just stopped as if it decided not to load the rest of the movie....I'm gonna try again later...but I gotta say Cub...I love it...very good work..and the splatter effect with the blood at the beginning is marvelous....great job!

Hmmm...that reminds me...I eventually should try to get my copy of Under a Killing Moon to work.
