The Holocaust is a strange thing. It's something nobody could have imagined would happen, and it's something that's simply hard to imagine did happen. It's a troubling concept to realize that people could and did go so far as to arrange these murder/torture camps.

I remember some stories my mom told me of some of my relatives. One relative, I think my grandpa on my dad's side, was on a train meant for one of these camps. Luckily for him the train stopped halfway and he ended up just walking off. Then there's another relative that disappeared completely during the war.

A very low point in humanity, no doubt man.
