I just wanted to send out a Happy Mother's Day to all the Mothers on the board and to remind those with Mothers to give her some extra thought today...

Gee I sure do love Hallmark days. Making me call my mother, and *sigh* ... listen to her go on for hours.

Actually I often get confused, most of the english part of the internet seems to be American so you're browsing around and all these "Mothers Day" adverts are all over the place. And youre like "What?? I better get something!" Then you remember that was 2 months ago and you already did....

(Mother's Day was March 2nd in the UK)

Happy Mothers Day

I was Mr. Mom the first few years my daughter was born.
Was the only guy in the local New Mom's Support Group, and my daughter even called me "Mom" lots of times. Fortunately for me, however, I did NOT give birth.

I was a Single father for a stretch of about 3 to 4 years, so trust me, you deserve the honor of Mother's Day as much as a woman...

It's not an easy job when both parents are together these days, let alone being alone, be it a Father or a Mother...

I'm a single father who doesn't get to see his daughter all that often because my ex is a freak. I'd put a picture of my daughter and myself, but I can't figure out how to do it cause I'm stupid. lol

Well, it goes out to all those father-mothers too! Happy 'being a parent' day!!
