Bo Diddley was a great guitarist/entertainer that received semi-widespread recognition but was overshadowed by Chuck Berry (no offense meant) and the English wave of the 60's. I will miss him.

True point Jim... It wasn't really given the credit due to him...

In the last 2 weeks alone we've lost 4 celebs that made a decent impact on their respected genre... In the last few months of 2008 alone we've lost several altogether...

Crazy stuff happening this year... A bunch of deaths, a bunch of Disasters, just crazy...

Who is Bo Diddley? The name just sounds dodgy to me.

You can add Harvey Korman to that list as well. He was a superb comedian/actor and is most known for The Carol Burnett Show. He also had an interesting roll in Blazing Saddles.
