Only the good die young, right?

Then again, I thought that Anna Nicole Smith was a succubus creature that lived on limelight and that she'd live forever as long as people were paying attention to her.

I wouldn´t say she´s next. I mean there were so many musicians that were high on crack, coke and so on for years and years and years , compared to that Amy is still a "Drugnewcomer" and they managed to survive. Of course others didn´t but compared to the ammount of drugs that were abused, it seems incredible how many managed to get their years of self destruction behind them.
But of course you never know, and there´s no doubt about the circumstance that she´s "slightly" out of control.

When I looked at this post I wondered, "Who's Amy Winehouse?" Apparently she's a music artist I've never heard of, that was born on the same day as me, but one year later.

We lost George Carlin. I don't think we can lose anyone else this year that's of equal or better value.

Who are we to put a value on the loss of life? But in hope we reflect on the value of life.

When it Comes to Entertainers, like George Carlin was, we are the Best People to put the Value on their lives... We Are The FANS and we say who is and isn't Popular...
I have to agree with Fred here, unless we lose someone like Bill Cosby, then we aren't going to lose anyone of equal or better value than George...

This has been on Tragic Year for sure... All the Celeb Deaths, plus all the Nature Disasters occurring... Just Tragic...

It's not the value of life itself I speak of. It's what these people give back to humanity as a whole. Entertainment, illumination, wisdom, truth...

Some people are a greater source of these things than others.

Amy Winehouse's music is great. She's supposed to be doing a number of festivals here this summer, though she's having to cancel a few at the moment because of her condition. Just hope she gets over it.

And her other half in prison too - I can't see herself getting on the straight and narrow anytime soon sadly. Hope I'm wrong
