Bill Gates Retires

He's not even 60 yet!

Truth be told he's only been a figurehead for years, but still, he presence did mean something and quality was actually important to him to some degree. All in all, he's not been that bad a guy. I wish him luck!
So maybe... you know... he could, like, have some hobbies, and, um, hang out with some people who've worked for him before and have, like, some interesting new products on the way...

Uh, freep, he already has all the best. But yes, he left an indelible mark on society and will be remembered for decades to come.

Even by you, Jim?
From spurious to serious however, I'm pretty sure Bill Gates will be remembered for the rest of human civilized technological recordkept history. Or something.
I wonder what we'll do if civilization breaks down, though. That's a thought that's always intrigued me. Never mind the end of the world, that's unlikely we'll see in our lifetime. But the end of civilization is entirely possible at any given point.
If it IS going to happen, I hope I'll be around to witness it. If only so I can say I was there.

PS: My posts tend to veer off-track. I know.

It's been out a couple days now that he is retiring, I was wondering how long it was going to take for a Thread to go up about it...
I think he is getting out now, because he can smell the scent of Death on Microsoft and he wants to be able to point and say, "It Wasn't My Fault"...

I'm tempted to outdo Chris but I don't really type like a clown while drunk
Oh Captain Morgan, you're the devil.
As for Billy, best of luck in the future. What does a retired billionaire do in his free time? Somehow I can't picture him jumping off the rooftops of Gotham.

No, this Billionaire in his spare time will be in Third World Countries trying to stop Hunger and Disease from Spreading...
Not quite jumping off of roof tops, hell in some of those places they aren't even fortunate enough to have roofs... Very Noble thing Gates is Trying to do... Sadly something that Vast there really is no stopping it... All you can do is feel better at night knowing you helped in some way that day...

Come to think of it, he's got the resources and brain power to be a Tony Stark, without the Ironman suit part. I mean I know if I possessed his brain and his money I'd be spending my nights trying to put an end once and for all to the energy question. The countries he's trying to help would be significantly improved by a cheap perpetual source of energy.
Or maybe it's the rum.
Either way, I hope he turns into some kind of super hero. Warren Buffet is such a boring billionaire.

He should donate his entire fortune to me. I would be an interesting billionaire to watch.
Also I would have much more interesting drunken posts. Just imagine!
"Hai!1 Did u know u culd buy Lindsay Lohannn?" ...or something. Anyway. I would probably do us up one of those super-duper energy machines.
Like in Southland Tales.
