Well I'll be off to Kings Dominion Tomorrow for a couple of days...
For those that don't know what Kings Dominion is, you can check out the website if you want...

http://www.kingsdominion.com/

It's an Amusement Park... It use to be owned by Paramount... Not a bad park for being just a couple of hours away... They had a decent deal online, so when the family asked, I couldn't really tell them no... Besides I still enjoy Roller Coasters myself Kings Dominion has 13 of them... I prefer going in the middle of the week myself, a lot less of a crowd...

I get Season Passes to Six Flags almost every year since it is right down the street practically... So doing something different is a nice treat for the family from time to time... Mostly because when business is busy it's harder to get away for a lengthy vacation...

You can consider that one to fall under Number 7... Thought I had Generally covered just about everything, but I love those things too, can't believe I missed 'em...

Camping by a large body of water with at least one boat or a few jet skis.
A sansGUI interface is one that does not have the small features called "Windows". The term comes from the French word sans, meaning "without".

SansGUI's are more typically used in Unix-like Operating Systems. The conventional wisdom is that a GUI (Grapical User Interface) help guide the casual computer user to perform routine tasks with Point and Click simplicity. SansGUI's have acquired considerable acceptance for users accustomed to the CLI (Command Line Interface).
I definitely like amusement / theme parks. I want to visit Florida and go to all the different parks there someday. Disney World, Universal Studios, Seaworld and whatever else. Yeah I'm just a big kid :D Best I've done is Disneyland Paris (and that was my first and only time outside the UK). Not been to anything else major, just our local parks a few times. I never have the money to go anywhere exotic or foreign. And actually recently don't even have the money to go somewhere inland either. Oh well. So I voted for ye olde having fun at home etc.

I have family in Virginia and Pennsylvania and I live in Louisiana. So I have to use my vacation time to see them, otherwise I never would.

I just bought the tickets 2 days ago. It cost me $600 . :( LA -->VA, then PA-->LA. I'll ride with someone by car to PA.

Hopefully I'll be able to visit Cedar Point again while I'm up north.
Cedar Point = best amusement park ever. Better than Disney. It's everything an amusement park ought to be.
Too funny...my bag is packed and tomorrow we'll be in Hawaii! And into the shark tank we go.

From last visit.....

That shark looks comical. Like it's about to turn away from the shark tank and is thinking to itself "Damn, I gotta stop coming to this restaurant, it's always closed..."

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
Also, have a nice holiday Jen!

Jen, you take too many holidays... okay, what I meant to say is: you take too many holidays that don't involve us going with you!! :(

Have fun all the same!

We have family in the western portion of Michigan's UP. The scenery is great, the hospitality super, and the fishing is excellent. One day of each visit is spent traveling the UP and seeing the sights. If you have never been there you are really missing something.

I like to go to Cabo san Lucas every year (the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula.) We have a time share villa down there. My daughter and like to go and do as little as possible.

Our typical day: Get up and sit in our hot tub (heat off). When the "Shark" pool opens, move down to the pool. The pools have swim-up bars from which we can get smoothies and hamburgers and stuff, so we don't have to get out of the water. When the pool becomes too sunny, we move to the "turtle" pool. It also has a swim-up bar. After a while we move to the beach and play in the surf and maybe have something to eat at a beach grill. Then back to the turtle pool, then back to the shark pool then back to our hot tub and then to bed. The next day we start over again. We just do this all week long. A week long siesta.
My vacation so far has been spent with good friends, beer and bbq. Nothing planned, nothing spoiling my plans.

Also, there's no work. I'm loving that bit most of all!

I'll spend a week in Berlin with some of my friends, then head home to my parents for the next two weeks. That's pretty much been my summer vacation for the last years (just substitute Berlin with Istanbul, New York, Rome and so on).

And Jen, I'm probably going to Hawaii in February, do you have any hot tips on where to stay? Or what to do?
If you can't be good, be careful

Learn something new everyday. I was still under the impression you had to wait before going into water after eating.
