Introduction thread

Well, I haven't found any thread to introduce myself so I...created it. Hope it will be useful to future newbies.
As I said in the "Future website of the year" thread, I'm one of the few french fans of Tex.
I'm trying to make my nest as a sound engineer and believe me it's a hard task when you're only 20 like me.
I'm also an artist (kick me).
http://www.myspace.com/thetoycommander End of the ad.
Even if this community is small, everyone seems very sweet and mind opened(kinda normal because you all love Tex, you know).
I'll say what english people say when they swear: excuse my french.

Welcome Again... I welcomed you in the other thread that you posted in... No we don't really have an Introduction Thread... Not a bad idea though I suppose... Do stick around... It is a good little community we have here...
I think your idea of Translating Tex Info into French is a great idea...
Once again, Welcome...

Welcome indeed. We used to have complementary bourbon but in these harsh times all we have left is cola with water in it. Well, Jim probably has a stash somewhere, but he's most likely forgotten where it is.
Good luck with the niche and enjoy your stay! I must warn you though, once you get acquainted here it's very difficult to leave. Take it from a guy who's been gone and back for the past ten years

A BIGGGGG!!! Welcome!!!! from TOG. Great to have you on board. BTW, did you know there are French translations of Aaron Conners' Tex novels? Go to Amazon.com and you might find them there.
Frank & Fred: You guys are too funny.

Welcome to the forum! Hope you have fun here. An introductions thread is a great idea, this should probably get stickied, I know on other forums the Intro sections get a fair bit of activity. Also nice of you to offer your help on the website project. All the best!

Welcome, welcome! Finally, someone who can probably answer the age old question, "What wine goes best with each of the TM games?"
I've just started playing UAKM again. What would you recommend?

Hi Gideon!
Cool to see one of my favourite Tex characters on this board.
Have fun...

I must admit I read them online on a french fansite because they are almost impossible to find. The only way to get them is eBay and blabla (no dime for AC). The english version is much better though beacause the translator tried to make his text more "detective-fashioned" by making Tex swear almost every line...

Nothing you can afford, I guess, the games are so good. If you're rich a "Chateau Latour" est le meilleur choix, monsieur.

Really??? Then Yes the English version is much better, because Tex isn't that type...

Welcome to the board, Gideon! You'll soon see that a lot of us here are a big internet family. I've been here somewhere between six and seven years, and some folks have been around even longer than me!
