I had been real nervous getting ready for it these past weeks. but today I started teaching an Astronomy class at a local college. It was a blast! A lot more fun that I was expecting. At least for me. I hope the students also had fun and maybe even learned something.

I guess I'll have to wait and see how many drops I get at the next meeting.

Congrats on the teaching. As much as I disliked college, I aways envied and respected the profs. That's one thing I'd like to do sometimes, although I'm not exactly sure I can teach anything from my field

That sounds great. I once attended an astronomy class when I was at university. Even though I had no knowledge in physics, I think I learned a lot about the big picture.

Good for you, Doc. At first I thought your new part time job was downloading UAKM and PD onto flash drives. But astronomy, now that's cool. I've looked to the stars all my life with wonder and awe. Hope your students appreciate your talents.

Astronomy! You know I used to be obsessed when I was much younger. I still gaze out through the telescope once in a while. Fascinating stuff, and even more fascinating you are teaching it... I know who to come to when I have any questions!
