I'm playing Pandora on a PC in WinXP. I installed vdmsound (a la the vogons website), and have been running the game through that. I've only had minor problems until I got to the end of Day 5, right after Reagan calls and right before you set off for Roswell. Every single time without fail the screen goes black, and then a box comes up that says "access denied"...it then opens the vdmsound box which says "a dos error has occurred. Press any key."

I'm not sure exactly in which direction i should go at this point.

Can anyone help me out?

Ok so i have an old machine for these games and don't need VMD sound. But all VMD does is that it makes sound not chopy. Right? Try running it with out VMD and see how it goes from there.

If that doesn't work you could get a savegame that happens just after your game crashes.
