Check out this real-time casting demo for the latest action/adventure game coming to the PS3... it looks STUNNING!

http://au.ps3.ign.com/dor/objects/81123 ... 6demo.html

I did my research and found out that the game will all be realtime. The video is a little old and they have improved on the characters lip-synch (which was a little goofy).

Here are some screenshots from the game engine, once again, not pre-rendered: http://news.vgchartz.com/news.php?id=2238

Thoughts?

I've been tracking the development of this game based on the controls for it, i. e. the interactivity, not the graphics. This is the new game from the guys that brought you Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy, which was a game that blew me away completely when I first tried it.

I am however afraid that animations will become a problem again, since that's the only thing I can fault Fahrenheit for having - bad animation. Graphics were good, gameplay was superb, and the story top notch. Animation... uhhh... not so much.

Hoping they've learned their lesson, because if they add brilliant animation to the mix then Heavy Rain will be the cat's mjau.
