Unofficial Tex Murphy

Forgive me if anyone has already discussed this, as I haven't really checked first, but has anyone played Still Life and/or Post Mortem? I was looking at buying SL, but found it to be a semi-sequel to PM, so I thought I'd get PM first. When I checked out reviews of PM, I found that it got pretty bad reviews overall.

So naturally, I came to my real source of information.

Anyone? Do I have to play PM first? Does it really suck that bad?

As far as i know, Still Life can be played stand alone. It has links to the first game, but playing Post Mortem is not necessary.

I still wouldn't mind playing PM though. Even if bad, i like murder mysteries with a supernatural edge to them.

I was hoping that'd be the case. Any other input?

Does PM really stink all that badly?
