Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
I like Throwing Darts and Shooting Pool... I really enjoy Snow Mobiling... I Collect Zippo Lighters {I have about 4-5 dozen}... I enjoy rebuilding Muscle Cars and Jeeps... I also enjoy boating/jet skiing... And I enjoy a good Bike {motorcycle} ride... Other than that, I like spending time with my family... Planning on another child, probably sometime this year...
And of course there is the Video Game Addiction, which I believe just about all of us here have, otherwise we wouldn't be here would we...

But...but...Fred...you took away all the fun stuff, there's nothing left!
I enjoy...long walks on the beach?
Started mountain hiking about 5 years ago and now we try to organise a trip every 3-4 months or so. So far we've kept it to North America but I'd like to do some abroad, if the job lets me leave the continent for somewhere else than the middle east!
I do enjoy kicking the motorcycle around town or going up north on small trips, but I've yet to go on some actual proper long ride. I ride a Triumph Scrambler anyway, hardly a "trip" bike.
Growing fond of sailing at the cabin up north, but the temperature is hardly ever ideal. August is usually when we get around to having some fun.

My hobby is to visit this board daily, and post occasionally. AND THIS IS MY 500TH POST!!! WHOOO-DEE-WHOOO!
Seriously, my wife and I share a hobby: ballroom dancing. We've been doing it for more than three years. We take lessons every week. Fox Trot, Bolero, Swing, ChaCha, Rumba, and Samba. . .with a dash of Tango, Mambo, and Salsa thrown in. We love it.

Never too late for coffee, never too early for beer.
You all know my hobbies. But aside from those you already know, I continue to study astronomical physics and sciences, which was my passion before film and multimedia took over... it essentially has never left me. I also enjoy bowling, and am planning on making it a weekly thing, ever since the local lanes introduced the dice and price day (roll two dice, and whatever comes up is how much you pay for the game).

So I can't say games, movies or music? WHAT ELSE IS THERE!?!?
o lolz I knowz wut bout dem internets.
Well I draw. I used to do it only as a fun hobby but now I'm working towards trying to do it as work so its not so much a hobby anymore. I think I need to hobbify it back again a little though so I feel more motivated to practice when not doing things for a project. I can never seem to find any joy in doing the groundwork (life drawing, anatomy studies, perspective practices etc.). Perhaps if I interject crazy or fantasy-theme things into them I'll find it bearable.
I've been an anime fan since the mid 90s, maybe '97 or something, after I picked up a freebie catalogue at a comics shop and saw some advertisements for some anime series. I'd never really seen an art style like it before (this was just before the big explosion). I watch TV series (not literally the stuff on TV though as we get slim pickings in the UK), I've read manga books, listen to Japanese music (I like music in other languages though in general). Although with funds as they are I've stopped buying books and figures etc. I was (am?) seriously addicted to buying anime figures, only just given it up. Collecting figurines of any kind is a very expensive hobby, NEVER take it up.
This is what an addiction looks like Evidence A (quickly taken photo with evil possessive light in the middle. Also that grey-haired girl on the second shelf far left has fallen ove, really she just did that to eat the green-haired girl's ice cream)
This is what an addiction looks like Evidence B (quickly taken photo with doodled speech bubbles)
Back when I actually had room in the glass cabinet to do a scene
House Party! (I actually quite like miniatures, but I better not start on those either lol)
I used to collect pretty feathers (or rather I would just happen upon them and nab them rather than actively collect) until the bird flu thing happened
After all that media blowup about it I'm more wary. Got a couple of peacock feathers and other various lovely ones though.
That's all I can think of right now.

Besides my writing I play Magic: The Gathering and Warhammer. (That would be Warhammer Fantasy Battles)
Collecting cards and painting miniature figures satisfies that collecting need I'm certain is a by-product of what's left of the feminine genes after 9 months of gestation and birth.
It's also pretty freakin' sweet!
Will post pictures of my lil' army when I have something to put up.
I play Empire, by the way.

Nice thread Fred.
I used to collect stuff, animation cells, autographed books and of course Tex Murphy. But I guess I've got most of what that I was interested in. Lately it's been photography, and doing cool stuff when I can. On my last trip, we went Ziplining, whale watching, hiking, etc. Summers I do a lot of outdoorsy stuff, but winters, not so much...

Most of my Hobbies are being dropped down to Traveling... I've done a lot of the exciting stuff {sky diving, sea diving, cliff jumping, rock/mountain climbing, etc}, now it's just time to take in nature's wonders, be it land or beast or what have you...
Taking a Caribbean Cruise sometime this year, probably gonna be around May or June... Then I believe we are set to Hawaii in November... We are planning to leap across the pond either next year or 2011... My wife has a Grandfather over there, she met him once when she was 9, so it'd be nice to meet him before he passes, he is about 85 give or take I believe... So our time for getting over there is limited...
What kind of Cards do you collect Fred???
