I never really got into the show myself, but I know it ran for a long time... It looked interesting enough, but either I never nailed down the day and time it came on or I had conflicted interests on at the same time when I did notice it on... Looked good enough though, I'm sure I'll watch it through the countless reruns they'll show...
For those who liked the show, my sympathies... I know it can piss you off when they end a show you've watched for years... Only 2 episodes left for ER, my wife got me into that show and this will be the last season for it...

I thought i'd just drop by to say that i'm also a huge BSG fan but I can't participate in this thread yet. I haven't even read any of the posts. Maybe later.

They didn't exactly end it suddenly, it was supposed to have an ending all the way from the beginning.
I shall only make the statement that I am satisfied, to avoid spoilers at the moment.

Not trying to change the topic here.
But I know what you mean Baf.
One show I was disappointed to see end was the X-Files.
That show was so iconic for the 90s.
I really liked the end of that show, because they set it up for a really big movie...
Since the last X-Files movie didn't have to do with the mythology, I am still waiting for that
huge invasion movie.
Now it just has to be made!!!!

I thought it was an excellent end to an excellent series. Far better than I hoped, in fact. Especially given the fact that the show hadn't quite been on its game either of the last two seasons. And (avoiding spoilers) the last scene with Lee...man, that was haunting. Loved it.

Used to watch the show quite a bit... stopped when it got relegated to 11:30pm time slots.
Recently bought season 1 and 2... watched the first few episodes again. Was so bored that I actually started cleaning the apartment, and never went back to watching them.
I guess the later episodes get better, and maybe I will brave season 1 eventually. BTW I think Boomer is insanely hot.
For now ow I am re-watching all seasons of Stargate SG1.
