(Allegedly) really bad movies that only you seem to love

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day and we got into a discussion about The Godfather Trilogy. I told him that I actually love Godfather 3 due to the level of closure and emotion in the story, weak though some of the film's lesser moments were. I've learned that i'm actually in a minority when it comes to liking the Godfather 3 and it got me thinking about some other films that I only can relate to. How about you? I'll get the ball rolling.
The Godfather Part 3: Yes, Sophia Copola's acting is abysmal and the love story between the cousins was quite strange for a crime saga, but aside from that, I consider this film to be just as essential as the two which preceded it. The story flowed logically, Al Pacino's portrayal of Michael was as raw and emotional as its ever been. I also very much enjoyed the tension of the final "shoot out" scene. It's a shame Robert Duvaal and Francis Ford Copola couldn't see eye to eye on this project.
Back to the Future Part 2: i'm extremely surprised to learn that this is the least popular amongst the trilogy. I can't see why, it's actually my favourite. It has the humour of the first film with some sci-fi time travel sophistication that has been ripped off attrociously since this film. i loved the whole issue of rectifying the alternate time line, great stuff! I prefer this to Part 1 because it's more than just a love story and I prefer it to Part 3 because the story has so much more to offer than just a leap through time gone wrong. Don't get me wrong, the trilogy is terrific, but I can't see why people overlook Part 2 so much.
City Slickers 2: I thought Billy Crystal's one liners were amongst some of the best he's ever done on screen here. " Hey, there's something wrong with your cow. Ive been trying to get milk out of him for hours but still nothing " to which Mitch dryly replies "The cow's name is Norman...you were pulling on his dick!" I laughed hard when saw that the first time. There's plenty of other moments like this to be had in the film too. However, I do agree that the film dropped off in the final half hour.
Super Mario Brothers - The Movie: This is probably one that you'll disagree with me on the most...and that's fine. What I loved most about this film was that it made no attempt to blatantly replicate the environment of a game (Tomb Raider, Max Payne, Mortal Combat etc...) but instead developed an original environment for it to flourish in. It had a great mix of action, characters and some comedy. I thought Dennis Hopper was great in this. I saw it at the cinema when it first came out (I was about 10 years old) and walked away with a grin on my face just as I did for Independence Day. It's a fun, action, sci-fi adventure that didn't carry itself too seriously. You will never get me to dislike this film
Independence Day: it was corny then, it's still corny now and that's why it's brilliant. The macho dialogue, the pompous speach by the American President, the fact that America (yet again) saves the world, the Michael Bay style scenes of destruction plus Will Smith. Did I also mention own this on Bluray?
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull: i've heard a LOT of opposition to this as well. In fact, if you go to YouTube you'll find a few rants including an Australian, TMK, who has made 6 adjoining 10 minute videos expressing his hatred for the film. Yep, that's a one hour tirade. It has to be seen to be believed. I agree that it's the weakest of the film series but that doesn't prevent it from being an enjoyable movie too. It's got action, humour and a pretty well rounded story. Most of the objection actually is born out of the presence of interdimensional beings...my answer to this is that there are numerous theories actually linking relations between Myan culture and beings of this type.
Star Trek Nemesis: I acknowledge why people actually don't like this one. There are a few plot holes which are never addressed including the major one regarding how they cloned Jean Luc Picard. I still consider it to be a stronger film than its predecessor, Insurrection, but it was certainly no First Contact. But, for an action adventure, it worked.
