The Special Edition is out! Has anybody else played it? I find myself loving it, especially since you can always press F10 and see the difference between the new and the old!
Also, it's good to hear Guybrush's voice again!
Available on Steam and an internet near you! Please support the adventure game genre!

yeah, played an hour or so today. I don't like the redone design of Guybrush, but the rest of the remake is beautiful, the voice acting is fantastic, and i love the inclusion of the hint button (i last completed this game in 1995. I have forgotten things).
I definitely recommend this!

I loved the humour of the original, I hope it's still the same with voices that won't sound anything like what I imagine.

All the voices are the original voiceactors belonging to the original characters - all is well!

I've only played 1 Monkey Island game...I think it was the Curse Of Monkey Island. It had the same interface as Full Throttle. I enjoyed it, i'll have to play them all. Once I get through all of the Tex Murphy games, i'll get around to this one.
