Is Overseer working properly yet????

Can someone try to give me a response before the promotion is over?

I have only read on gog forum people had trouble if they had dual video cards, had to disable one in control panel . still have to mute the midi. Some people reported crashes when seen by droids but it seems there was only a select few.
Cd version only. I didn't bother as sangui (not spelt right I know) but his version is excellent.
He gave gog his installer but I do not know if they used it.

$7.00 is not a big risk anyway.
If you do get it make sure the midi is muted & rsd buffering is set to 240 & disable the icon in the task bar as I find it pops up every now & again & can crash game

If you have to mute the midi, does that mean there is no music??

no, we have been playing them game that way for years. Some times I turn off the midi in pandora & UAKM as the midi sometimes over powers tex voice & you can't hear what his is saying.

You can leave the midi on & mute it at gideon's gallery

also if you leave the midi on you get "error does not mean error" which is real annoying.
you get the background music in the movie scenes & you hear things like the fire burning in the background. really you don't miss the midi, I only notice no music while I'm in tex's office

How long will they be on sale???

I don't think I've ever played Overseer with midi. Have people reported that midi trouble remains even in this new edition?

yes the game is played with no midi, & no it has not been fixed due to the fact overseer was written with midi sound files & after overseer microsoft changed the format for media files for xp so it does not understand the midi files.

I hadn't looked at it, I didn't know it was a Weekend Sale...

Sadly I think I'll end up missing out on it, I haven't put money into my Paypal account since the Divorce Started, so I don't have the money in there to purchase the games... Does GOG take Credit/Debit Cards???
