Given Tex's personal morals, I think Tex Murphy would be with Team Conan rather than Leno, don't you? Scheming suits screwing people over was never his bag.

I would think so. I'm with Team Conan. My favorite guys are Stewart and Colbert, but I definitely felt NBC treated Conan very badly. I never liked Jay.

I don't think Tex would really give 2 snorts of bourbon about talks shows period... And if for some reason he did, I think he would think of Conan as an Idiot...

I don't think Tex watches anything that isn't of the PlayBub/Amazon variety... 8)

I like Conan the Barbarian, Cohen the Barbarian, and Conan the Librarian. Also I do have a soft spot for Arthur Conan Doyle's work.

Won't Tex turn six this year? He's somewhere in Utah right now. Just a few years before he has that horrible accident with his trusty mount Striper. He might be too young to be watching Conan at this point. Maybe not. I wonder what Conan would be doing in 2042.

The only late show we get is Letterman here... and I am happy with that. Although comparing Conan to Leno, I prefer Conan... but then again Letterman just cracks me up sometimes so nya!

...come to think of it, do I really know what I am talking about? haha

You think tex would think Conan is an idiot???

I get a stinking suspicion that you think Conan is an idiot baf.

I think tex is the personification of idiocy.... in a good way.
What makes him so funny is the fact that he is an idiot.

I mean come on.....

Here is a perfect example.
"Things are finally looking up"
As he rips his first pay check in weeks in half.

Fred - you a big Sherlock Holmes fan? I have read his entire writings of Holmes and they were wonderful!

I'm a huge Sherlock Holmes fan myself. After I read my first story I was forever hooked on detectives and mysteries. I've read/got all the short stories and novels in hardback, paperback, and now in Kindle format.

I however could not bring myself to watch that new movie with Robert Downey Jr. The thought of it just too upsetting for me. Jeremy Brett will always be the man I think did the best portrayal.

I thought the same way Sam, but I have heard some good things about this New Holmes movie with Downy... I'm really not a fan of his at all, but I have to admit that the previews have looked good... And I believe Old Man Jim himself gave a good review of the movie...

I won't spend money to see it in the theaters, but I'll surely get it through Netflix when it is available...

huge Holmes fan here too. One of my prize posessions is a hard cover with all the Holmes stories how they were originally printed in the magazines, illustrations and all.

Haven't seen the film yet, but my friends tell me it's pretty good. I like Guy Ritchie and Robert Downey Jr. so i can't see it as being too terrible.

(Also a Conan O Brian fan) :D
