Hey I just saw a really cool episode of Mythbusters last night. The question was if you are driving down the highway going 60 and then toss out your drink in a styrofoam cup, the cup hits the windshield of an oncoming car also going 60, what will happen?

I honestly didn't expect much damage but was surprised to see the cup break the windshield and even punch a hole through the windshield. They also tested which was more damaging, a cup of soda, a cup of soda and ice, and a cup of slushy drink.

I love this show. They even had a great line. "We do this so you don't have to". :)

I recorded that last night and can't wait to watch it tonight. They generally have some interesting "myths" and, sometimes, very interesting results.

Oh and Baf you'll be happy to know they managed to get through the entire episode without having to use C4 to blow anything up.

I always preferred the british show Brainiac. Mythbusters usually either gets the myths wrong or have to compensate in some way for not having the specific tools or environments or whatever props handy. This let's them bust myths that are no longer near accurate conditions for the original myth to occur.

Then again Brainiac is basically tits and explosions. Can't go wrong with that!

I missed the show, must have been watching Monster Quest or something... It should be On Demand no later than tomorrow though...

And Richard Hammond, don't forget him.

Actually I have to agree with Fred... While I enjoy the show, it is surprisingly strange how often something needs to be "Altered" for them to complete the Experiment...

Saw the episode and it wsa decently entertaining.

And, I think they are having fun out there. They get to build cool stuff and blow up a lot of things. They kind of have dream jobs.

I know if they had an opening, I'd be interested in working there.

I felt so bad for poor Tory. I hope he's doing okay. That looked really, really painful. :(

Yea, that was no good.

Also, I hope Keri comes back before too long because I like her a lot better than her stand-in.

I agree I do not like Jessie. Kari was just so funny and perky. I loved it when they were doing the bullet curving myth and she had to wear a bullet proof vest over her stomach before shooting off her gun. She said "I'm busting myths for two".
