Do any folks out there have a fedora and trench coat? Here's a chance to dress up as Tex if you are interested in entering the contest.
*******************
We're sure lots of you wanted to play a character from your favourite game in real life. Well, now you have a chance to do it, take a photo of yourself and win some free GOG games! We're launching "Take a photo of a screenshot" contest. Rules are simple: pick one of the screenshots seen on the game pages at GOG.com, adopt a pose from the screenshot, take a photo and send it to us at users-at-gog.com. To show you what we mean here's an example

. We're accepting all entries until July 2, at 11:59 p.m. EDT. From all photos we'll pick two funniest, craziest and most creative ones and we'll reward each of the authors of the winning photos with 4 free GOG game codes. Let the fun begin!

I've got the Coat, but I haven't found a Fedora that I like yet... I was going to have one made, but the company I was going to use closed down...

Looks like fun and it is nice of GOG to do this. I've got a hat that sort of resembles a fedora and I've got a light colored trench coat. I just might give it a try.

Please post your pictures here for us to see too. Sadly I can't pass myself off as Tex even if I had a hat and coat. I'll just have to live vicariously through you guys.

I don't think Gender will be an issue, they want to see the pose and see how close you are to that...
Anyway, what pose for Tex are we going to use if doing this??? The one up on the right of this board or some random shot from within one of the games???

Baf, I didn't mean in terms of gender. I meant in more practical terms. Chris Jones is freakishly tall at what 6'5" or something like that. I'm at the other end of the spectrum at freakishly short. There's no way I'd pass for his stunt double that's for sure.
The contest says to duplicate a screen shot from a game. They probably expect you to show a screen shot from the game can your picture so they can compare it side by side. They've got an example on their webpage of what they mean.

This is as close as I'll come. And I did a ton of searching, this hat is pretty damn close if not the same. Someday I'll venture to see it in real life, but I did TONS of comparing, it's close.

Your dents on the hat are slightly different, but it extremely close... I'd have to see both hats in person to be sure though...
Speaking of which, if I could get my hands on the original {I know, not gonna happen}, I know a company that makes hats and they could probably reproduce it...

No actual gun in the picture. Also no feet in the air, mid-asslanding and bits of cigarette being blown airwards. I call disqualification on your Texism!
(Only kiddin' ya, angel; Yer lookin' like a doll. Or maybe you're a doll, lookin' like an angel. I don't rightly know if I can decide just yet.)
(How's that for Chandler-esque?)
